Why is Facebook down 2 days in a row?

Question

I wanted to set up some pictures. I got a new roommate unexpectantly and I have never met her. Now I want to send some pictures so That SHe can see me, but FCBK has not been up for two days in a row!

I wanted to do it through facebook so I could have control over taking them down later. Im afraid to send them through email because I dont have ultimate control.

Does anyone know what else I could do? and what going on?

My facebook works fine. It never was down.
