Why is Facebook getting rid of their Networks feature?

It says you will still be in the Networks you are in currently but you will no longer be able to access the Networks page.

  1. I never heard that, but maybe it is for safety reasons

I'm assuming it's because of bandwidth.  Those network pages are just added space on their servers.  It was probably to the point of getting rid of these pages or spending the money to upgrade their server capactity.  They are just getting rid of the network pages, they are not getting rid of the networks themselves.

    This is just a guess as to why, though.
