Why is Firefox 3 running so slow?

Question

It loads the main page and some websites at normal speed, but when I go to do a google search using the toolbar it just sits there and loads forever. I've just installed it and it has no extensions installed. Im running XP.

have you got utorrent running, limewire,games

sometimes your router will slow up if there is too much traffic.

i get it cos my ISP sucks

so i can only eiter browes to web or use utorrent

maybe you have exceeded you download limit!

did you restart you computer?

if you have games or downloads running check that and exit them

or if you are streaming media

to control alt delete and check your programs and processors!

you could have got the vundo virus aswell but doubt that

where did you download firefox from?
