  1. It is only a problem to those who always say the sky is falling.

  2. It's not.

  3. Because it has to do with the enviroment.

  4. Because, people still believe in fairy tales.

  5. Seems like everything I've heard about it has to do with industrial pollution and chemicals that are in products we use cause a breakdown of the o zone, thus causing the earth's atmosphere to be warmer.

    Check this site out:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_warm...

  6. it's not because its a lie many scientist are starting to say we may be head back into an ice age its just like in 1975 they were claiming we might have ice glacier coming as far down as Ohio by 2020 it was even a story in  Time magazine don't believe what the Enviro-n**i say the European space climate tracking agency Even said that the earths surface cooled by 3/4 of a degree when then & the Enviro-n**i have been screaming because the earths syrface temp had increase by one degree over the last 100 years it just a load of c**p to get a bunch restrictive law pass to make a lot money for groups like Green Peace for whom this has become almost like a religon

  7. B/c the environment is warming faster than certain species can adapt.

Weather is a short-term estimate that is affected by a number of things-climate is the 'over-all' picture of what is happening globally.

Some say it's an all natural thing and that the (massive) human population doesn't effect it, but that seems to be a silly argument and is not supported by the majority of climatologists.

  8. Because the 1930's were the hottest years in North American recorded history. Fortunately, it has cooled down considerably, with the US posting amazingly cold winter temperatures the last two years.. Now that the solar max is about over, the forecast is for global warming to cool down the Earth over the next 11 or so years, in keeping with the solar cycle, but also in keeping with "computer models."

Until then, prepare for your life-style to be altered by force of government, and your money to be re-distributed.

    Me, I'm worried about ManBearPig.

  9. When the environment around us goes through this kind of rapid change, many life forms do not have an ability to adapt.  As extinctions increase, and the level of biodiversity drops, our ability to sustain ourselves is also imperiled.  Finding crops that will withstand uncertain rainfall patterns and the likelihood of more extreme weather events will imperil many a nation, especially if the population doesn't stabilize.

  10. Because humans are the predominate and most active bipedal vertebrate. It would be naive to think we didn't have a influences. There's always been fragile and transitional ecosystems. Some times we help other times we hinder. Most wildlife decline is due to the loss of habitat, but can have many other factors, whether its natural or man made. It would be great if it was truly a commensalistic relationship, but it's not... And probably never will be.
