Why is God So intent on appearing non existent?

Free will wouldn't be effected if all people knew beyond doubt that God existed, we would still have a free choice.

Personally speaking, I would probably choose not to follow him because of his interest in eternal torture. So if free will wouldn't be effected, why does he persist in playing the best game of hide and seek ever?

Is it possible that he isn't hiding and simply isn't there?

  1. thats a good vid. That messed up baby creeped me out

  2. Faith. If we saw HIM we would not need Faith.

Heb:11:1: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

2Co:4:18: While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

1Pe:1:8: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

  3. I liken God's existence to aliens.  If they want you to know they are there, why don't they just come down and slap you in the face and say "HEY!"?  If they don't want you to know they are there, then why use lights at night?  Or maybe they just don't care, maybe God doesn't care.  Not much of a God then huh?  And most importantly, how come only "special" people get to see God or aliens?  Maybe L Ron Hubbard had something there.

  4. The idea that God tortures people eternally in h**l is a false doctrine of most of Christendom's churches, but it is not what the Bible really teaches.  So if that is your reason for not following him, why not take another look and find out the truth.  The Bible says plainly that the dead are "conscious of nothing at all" at Ecclesiastes 9:5.  h**l is simply the grave where the dead sleep until the resurrection which will take place under the thousand year rule of Jesus.  That is why Revelation 20:13 says that at that time "the sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Ha′des gave up those dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds."

So you see they do not stay in h**l eternally and they do not suffer while they are there.

God is not hiding and He definitely is there.  Soon all will know that he is Jehovah when he vindicates his name against all the lies that have been told about him like this.  When he finally removes Satan and his entire system of things and restores the earth to a paradise where those resurrected will have the opportunity to live forever in perfect conditions as Psalm 37:29 says, "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it."

The problem comes because most of Christendom's churches do not have God's spirit and that is what is needed to be able to understand it.  They do not understand the sybolic nature of the scriptures they take to mean that God is torturing people.  As you can see from the above scriptures God doesn't do that.

If this interests you at all contact Jehovah's Witnesses and they will be glad to help you (free of charge) to see what the Bible REALLY teaches.

  5. He's probably terrified of believers such as F.B. who pull answers out of their rears.

  6. My only reason for not believing in God is that there is no proof.  If he refuses to show himself to me then I refuse to believe in him.

  7. Turn your question around, my friend:

Why would or should God become known or present?

    Really now? Why?

I have lived over half my life (good Lord willing). A number of people I know (and my Dad) have already passed on.

This is the only thing I know: God speaks with a small, small voice.

    Perhaps that is enough.

    God love you!

NOTE: Did not watch U-tube either.

  8. HES WAITING AS PER AGREEMENT WITH SATAN till all mankind learns that Satans way doesnt work!!!!!!!11 Then He will return to earth to set things right!

  9. Those who don't exist must be nonexistent.

  10. Good question.  I agree, if the God of the Bible suddenly showed up, it certainly would not make me worship him.  Free will is still intact.  Maybe he just likes playing hide and seek?

  11. The most probable answer is that he does not exist.
