you've got it wrong, God is not in the doing bad business. natural disasters happen, God has nothing do with them, that's why they're called natural not unnatural disasters.

There have always been natural disasters, we just hear more about them now. If God were passing out natural disasters as punishment for sin, which I am sure is what you are suggesting, the whole world would have been destroyed by now.
