What is the reason a man would place his hand over his mouth when laughing hard when most just belt it out?

  1. It is just an involuntary reaction.  IDK why it is but it is nothing to worry about.  It is no big deal.


  2. My guess would be to muffle his laughter so it doesn't sound so loud. The man you're referring to is smart... a loud laugh is just obnoxious.  

  3. That is just his reaction when he laughs. Maybe he feels stupid laughing with his mouth wide open.

  4. maybe he is just use to doing that. or it could be he doesnt like his teeth like yellow or crooked maybe bad breath who knows lol it can be many things  

  5. I'm not really sure. Not all men do it though...trust me! I do it a lot because I have braces and I hate how they look...even though they're straight now...but they're not off yet.
