Why is Hilary Duff releasing another compilation album?

Question

She released "Most Wanted" in 2005 and "4ever" in Italy in 2006. Now she is releasing "Best of Hilary Duff" in 2008 which is similar to "Most Wanted" apart from the fact that it has the "Dignity" singles included, two new songs and a remix of the two new songs. I think that she should have waited a few more albums before releasing another one.

The release date of this compilation album is a few days before her birthday, so I think it's to celebrate her birthday. It's kinda similar to what Michael Jackson did - he released another compilation album on his birthday recently with new and unreleased songs. But I agree, artists release too many greatest hits and compilation albums these days.
