a) Western nations created Israel in land that belongs to Palestine because they did not want Jewish immigrants in their countries

b) Israel are oppressing the Palestinians in a system that a recent South African delegation declared was comparable to the very worst days of apartheid, or that many observers compare to the creation of Jewish ghettoes under the n**i's in Germany

c) they have nuclear weapons and use force against their neighbours without seeking any international approval

The Jews of today and the Arabs of today descend from different tribes which have hated and warred with each other since time practically began?

Israel refuses to concede the notion that Jerusalem belongs to the Muslims because it has, in fact, belonged to the Jewish people for literally thousands of years before Mohammed was even a gleam in his daddy's eye and they're not going to let it go because someone wandered through it once upon a time and built a mosque, and it galls the h**l out of the Muslim world their access to one of their most important historical religious sites (and basically where their entire faith was founded) comes at the pleasure and largesse of their enemies?

Muslims who had largely taken over the area now occupied by Israel, lived there and raised families for generations, were summarily shoved off their land by the international community (with America being one of the primary driving forces) and resettled to the Middle Eastern equivalent of Reservations in order to create the country of Israel, and Iran would rather blame someone else for the destitution and misfortune caused to the Palestinians rather than remember that the Palestinians are in the position they're in because no one else in the Middle East can stand them, either?

The Jews have had a really bad last century or so and have gotten really twitchy every time someone so much as sneezes or brushes an eyelash in their direction because they're terrified yet another fascist tyrant is going to try to genocidally slaughter them all in horrific ways, so they tend to lash out?

The Middle East has had a really bad last century or so and has gotten really twitchy about anything it considers to be outside interference because western powers have spent several hundred trying to control it and carved it up like a freaking roast after World War I, and America is constantly trying to intervene between Israel and the Muslim nations around it, and usually comes down on Israel's side, so they see Israel as part of a larger attempt to control them and destroy their way of life, and tend to lash out?

Because it's a very convenient tool, all those things considered, for the leaders of the country to use to distract the masses of the country from the fact the government is failing to meet their basic needs and their country is plummeting into an economic recession and suffering from an energy crisis despite having abundant natural resources to put toward solving the problem, so the leadership spends a lot of time stirring things up in an effort to keep the attention and anger of their citizens focused on someone else (gee, why does that sound familiar)?

Iran doesn't think Israel have right to exist because Israel was created on Palestine land. Iran is pissed at the very fact that Israel even exists in that location.
