There were other terrorist organizations around the world and in America before him--the Sons of Liberty for example. I can't figure out why he is considered the father of terrorism. He was not the only radical, just the most violent. Please help me with detailed answers.

  1. who's john brown?

  2. He was an insubordinate because he rebelled against the government and attempted to steal federal weaponry.

How he is a terrorist I do not know.

  3. Who considers him the father of terrorism? I've never heard that, just because he slaughtered a few people...

There's plenty of others before him anyway.
