Why is Kimbo so unstoppable ?

Question

When i first saw kimbo fight that black guy, i thought it was over for Kimbo, then i saw him fight some huge dudes, everytime i always thought to myself "This is the end of the line for Kimbo Slice" but he would always devastate them

Then he went into MMA and started beating everyone they threw at him from Tank Abbott to Merciless Ray Mercer, i always thought he was gunna lose, people always talked negatively about him

Then they put him up against that Thompson guy and he made him bleed out his ear from his brain.

I just wonder if anyone will ever be able to beat him now that Tyson is past his prime

well he's not met a really good fighter yet and by his own admission he has a lot to learn...sorry but he will get beat once he has to finally face a top name :)***

So ignorant. Kimbo is fighting SO MANY c**p fighters, it makes him seem like a champion. You don't know MMA from what i read. They made Thompson bleed from his brain and out of his brain?? WTF?!?! He has caulliflower ear. Kimbo just popped his ear.In a way. And thompson was winning that fight. Lil FYI.

Anyone who knows anything about MMA will tell you that Kimbo is a nothing and little more than a amateur.  He got big from internet hits on youtube an is more of a pop culture icon than a real fighter.  Everything that surrounds him is hype, there are little real qualifications, and most all his fights have been easy.  

Essentially, Kimbo is to MMA what Anna Kournikova was to tennnis.

kimbo is the most over rated fighter in world.      yes he did beat tank abbott but tank is 43 now and far from his prime he has not won a fight since 05' and before that it was 98'.

if kimbo was to fight Kongo ,Herring ,Couture ,Arlovski ,Mir ,Nogueira,    Any of them would make him look like a kid

I thought this question was a joke. Kimbo is stoppable. Read up on his opponents. They've either been street bums, washed up, or notorious for certain weaknesses. Thompson's ear got mangled because he has vicious cauliflower ear that, for "some strange reason" wasn't drained before the fight. Also, strangely, the fight was stopped due to the bleeding from the ear, yet, take a look at other MMA fights (see Chase Beebe debut) where someone's undrained ear exploding didn't matter. Kimbo would get KILLED by legitimate MMA fighters. h**l, it wouldn't even take a heavyweight. GSP or BJ would eat him alive.

hes 3-0 or 4-0 , so he hasnt fought a whos who of

mma but given time and training and commitement he

will have an oppurtunity to fight fedor , whos looking like

no one can stop him , but with el guapo providing

the know how, and strategy only the sky is the limit for

big kimbo , hopefully he takes advantage of el guapos

and reads him like a book.

Kimbo actually is not that good granted he has won all of his fights and has potential to be a great fighter but allot of flaws in Kimbo  his ground game was just terrible and his punches are all power thats it and I think the godfather of MMA (Bruce Lee) said in the art of fighting he who has the fastest hands is the victor.Kimbo has crazy power but the The collosol or what ever is name is the British dude he just fought almost beat him.If he were to ever step into the UFC he would suck.Elite XC was bad for MMA especially when you have Phil Baroni as your biggest stars.He cam out like Rick Flare then got KO.I hope CBS cancells  Elite XC.

You really need to lay off of the drugs my friend. First he was not bleeding from the brain, his ear simply got ripped open, which I guess is commen with people who have wrestled for a long time.

Second Kimbo has had absolutly no real competition, and just about lost to a guy who probably at this point could not even get a spot in the UFC. Beating has been's and never were's is not something to be especially proud of.

Quite honestly in my opinion the ref was looking for any excuse to stop the fight and save their big drawing card.

Drugs are bad...say no to drugs.

Because he fights amateur fighters, and lackluster competition. No disrespect to the guys opposet him in the CAGE, but they aren't supposed to be up to Kimbo's talent. ELiteXC won't allow Kimbo to lose. They need him to be "great" so fans will keep watching.

Michael Jordan was born to play basketball

Peyton Manning was born to play football

Tiger Woods was born to play golf

Kimbo Slice was born to be the absolute best at MMA

Dana White said although hes not the most skilled fighter he makes up for it with super natural punching power, natural skill and a cast iron jaw

Most MMA experts predict him to be the greatest MMA fighter the world has ever seen

The fights he's been in so far havent really been a good measure of his ability as an MMA fighter

Tank Abbott and Thompson were world class UFC style fighters but not in Kimbo's league, only in the league of UFC

Next year when Kimbo is scheduled to fight Fedor Emilienko it will be a true display of his ability, Fedor is the huge underdog

Because he paces himself so poorly, he's got a shallow gas tank, absolutely no ground skills, and zero takedown defense.

Whoops, I think I answered the wrong question. I thought you asked "why is Kimbo so beatable?"

But in all seriousness, every seem to take it to the extreme one way or another. Some think he's far better than he is, and some make it him out to be far worse than he is (or compare him to f***s). As usual, the truth lies somewhere inbetween.

Though Kimbo has many weaknesses (as listed above), he's also tough, hits hard, has decent head movement and footwork, and has a spectacular training camp. In short, though he's not quite there yet, he does have a lot of potential.
