Why is Kobe being unselfish on Team USA?

Is he afraid the MEDIA will bash on him (as usual)?

He had some open shots. but, he sets up other players.

bcuz he has other stars that he can DEPEND on.the media always bashing the black guy,what about the withe/international guy?dirk perfect example,number one record in the NBA,MVP,loses in the first round two consective years.how many times have you heard of that?kobe, not team until this year goes to the playoffs twice but the media wants to "bash"him if it wasnt for kobe most media wont have their job rite now

Yeah, he was. He was mainly assisting LeBron, which made his fans say "Oh! LeBron is the best! This proves it!" Lol, Wade looked more better than LeBron.

He has a bunch of huge offensive talent on that team so he can set up his teammates for others so they can get some looks at the basket.  He has LeBron, D-Wade, Melo, Dwight Howard, Boozer, etc, and if Michael Redd is there, he can set him up for some open threes.

to concentrate on helping the team and act like senior or leader of the squad, not just score points and be the star. team usa hasnt won for quite a long time and if he gets on the team competes with his teammates rather than opponents theyll just lose again.

He dished it out in the regular season a little more to because he had more talent around him. In the case of the Olympics he has the best talent available around him so he spreads it out.
