Why is Lebanon known as "Riviera of the Middle East"?

because we are not close minded like the rest of the middle east.

It is beacause Lebanon is the only country that has or with no desert in the Middle East.

Because (besides the problem which came from the recent wars and problems) is the most open-minded country in the Middle East. Plus it has a nice climate, good infrastucture, beautiful beaches and nice ski-resorts. It just needs a little clean-up and it's as good as new ;)

because nowhere in the ME is there a country with snow topped mountains, crystal beaches, metropolitan cities, tree filled valleys, and beautiful rivers except lebanon....

also, lebanon is the only country with no desert in the ME.
