Why is Limewire taking too long to connect to the Sources?

Limewire used to work, but now it says "Connecting..." when downloading. It wont start to download anything, and it has been doing this for 2 weeks now.

Since you  have been using the program it has been busy transferring viruses and malware and trojans and all sorts of stuff to your system.
