Why is Lowes copying Home Depot with the red aprons.?

Which do you prefer and why? Home Depot or Lowes

I prefer Lowes.  At least there I can walk down the aisles.  At Home Depot all the aisles are cluttered so you can't even push a cart down them.

The red aprons disguise the colour of the blood from employee accidents.

probley  to improve there image,! but every time i went to one , it wasn,t there area, or they are on break, besides every thing is in Spanish, so when i HAVE to go to one, i say WELCOME to Lowes may i help you, then i say Sorry i,m on break or That's not my area,

That's why i go to Menard's all the time, No foreign languages, always some one that speaks English to help you,

I thought ppl at Lowes wore blue? I wonder if that changed...

Any ways, I like Lowes in the fashion that you can find them just about anywhere. However, nobody has as much building supplies and stuff as Home Depot. It is a close call for me. So I don't mind really.

Hmmm...

I have worked for Home Depot for 10 years. Personally I see Lowe's sometimes becoming more like Home Depot and I also see Home Depot sometimes becoming more like Lowe's. I think some Home Depots are better than some Lowe's ad some Lowe's are better than some Home Depots.

There is NOT much difference. Some Home Depots are cluttered and some are not. It depends on local store managers & district managers. They are not suppose to be cluttered.

I am not happy with Home Depot's meager raises which are only a little over half the cost of living even if you get a good review and the fact that they do not compensate associates for working Easter Sunday.

I have also seen many excellent managers and associates fired over the years for minor reasons. Some went to Lowe's to work and that is Lowe's gain and Home Depot's loss.

some people really remained confused whether or not it's Lowes or Home Depot, that's why they do it.

On top of that they're convenient for the employees.

Personally I like Lowes better.  Better quality of stuff in my opinion.

Home Depot will hire any dumbass.  And the color orange is nasty.

Lowes has a good benefits package and sweet employee discounts.  Their stores are bright and happy.
