Question:

Why is MICHELLE WIE Trying to play against the men ---- AGAIN!!!!!?

You would think that her performance at the Stte Farm Classic last weekend would have motivated her to stick with the LPGA Tour and try and score a top 5 finish, but now she goes off and makes another boneheaded move in trying to compete with the men.

If she hadn't been DQ'd there's a good chance that she may have won that tournament and I personally don't understand why she continues to make herself a sideshow spectacle.

I'm sure she'll come in dead last again and add to her list of failures. Her little act is getting tired and old and it's time for her to focus on making it through Q School rather than teeing it up against the men. What an effing joke!!!

Also, for those that say she's hot and that her beauty brings in viewership... yes, she is quite attractive -- but I'd much rather watch Natalie Gulbis on any given day.

  1. Because she can!

  2. maybe the PGA needs a ratings for TV as tiger woods is a plan sure says a lot about the other men are playing golf

  3. let her play, it's all good. she may not win the PGA tour but she could very possible beat a lot of male players.

  4. Fair question; I'm all for sponsor exemptions; they're part and parcel of every event.

At some point though, she has to sit down and think about where she wants to be; a circus sideshow, or a performer on the LPGA Tour.  She does not have the short game to compete on the PGA Tour; her putts per round, sand saves, and related just don't equate to what a PGA Tour guy can do.

More than anything, what she needs is someone to explain to her, in a very reasonable manner, that she needs to focus on getting her 2009 LPGA Tour card, and go from there.

The problem, of course, is that person currently doesn't exist.  Her parents are the worst offenders of all; enablers that have failed, on every level as parents.  Her parents are basically whoring her out for money; if I were Tim Finchem or the LPGA Commissioner I wouldn't let her folks within a mile of the golf course.

Her sponsors just want ROI for the millions.  Her "representation" at William Morris should be that person, but clearly they're just chasing dollars.

So nobody seems to let her go on the logical path (getting that LPGA card); in the end she's got burnout/flameout written all over her, which is the biggest tragedy of all.

  5. she seems to think she's the best golfer alive (better than Will Ferrell lol ESPY's joke) Yet she can't win a woman's tourney and if it was her against Tiger the score differential would be astronomical even with a bummed knee

  6. I am swaying both sides.

If she wants to play against the men then let her..

    but..

Like you said she would be taking spots away from the men who are trying to just make a living off the game....

  7. I'm a supporter usually of Wie.  She gets a hard time from the fans and the media.  But I agree.  If she has a PR person, they are terrible at what they do.  I'll be pulling for her though.

  8. because she thinks she has a p***s......i believe there is a deeper issue to look upon

  9. This is her last sponsors exemption , she is taking this opportunity to make a good showing , and if she does she will receive more exemptions from sponsors , I think she chose this event because she was playing good golf in her last event , we will see what happens , hope she signs her scorecard this time , but something tells me it really wont matter , I see a last place finish in her near future .

  10. she thinks she's better than women so she can compete agaisnt men. fool

  11. $$$$$

  12. I agree with you totally, if she can not compete with the women what makes her think she can hang with the men. ive never seen her in a tournament with the men and I was wondering if she uses the same tee's they use.

  13. It should be pretty obvious that it is done for publicity.  Her sponsors that are paying her $10M want her name and picture in the media and since she hasn't won a tournament I guess they figure another sideshow act is better than nothing.  Doubt I have ever seen a talented athlete so poorly managed.
