Why is Floyd Mayweather ducking Miguel Cotto. For a guy who is "The best fighter in the world" he should put up or shut up. It would be one heck of a fight though

  1. Just in case you are not up in 'current events', Mayweather has ducked all the tough, prime fighters.

  2. i guess he not get the pay day that he wants i guess things like this it is all too do with the big pay day now

not just the fact that you are the best at what you do

  3. I heard in some interview that Mayweather said that he would only fight Cotto when Cotto became a more popular boxer and gotten a bigger fan base. I have no idea what Mayweather is talking about because every Cotto fight that I have seen the arena is always packed with thousands of screaming Cotto fans.

But bottom line I think Mayweather is ducking Cotto because he's trying to build some anticipation and of course more money for a fight between the two. I mean he ducked De La Hoya for about a year until he finally decided to fight him and that fight ended up grossing more money than any boxing match ever.

  4. d**n right, Mayweather would get licked by Cotto.

I'm astounded by Cotto's skill and power. His jabs are tremendous, precise and super fast, it'd be a fight I'd pay to see!!
