Why is McDonald's not as appealing or exciting to me now, as it was when I was a kid?

Well, I was a kid in the '80's & '90's. Now, I might eat a double cheeseburger & be like, "Ewww!" & probably gag. Everything is too oily & greasy now.

Last few times I ate there, I was disappointed. I guess I lost interest in their food.

cuz when you were younger it was prolly a treat to get mcdonalds you wouldnt get it all the time

but now that your older it doesnt sound as appealing maybe because you have the choice to get it when you want

I guess that its because they try to advertise twards the little kids with the whole ronald mcdonald clown theme which by the way he scares the c**p out of me...

Lol and cuz u were exited to get a toy like one of those furrbies and mini sized barbie dolls and now we finaly realize that there food is discusting and its the worst popular fast food place u can eat at I mean like I read that that there meat is contaminated with steriods and each french fry u eat there is 5 calories......

Congratulations! You grew some taste buds! You now know the delight of eating some food that been prepared with skill and care. McDonald's, and all the kid fast-food places are strictly last-choice, used only in cases where nothing else is available, such as road-trips, and time is of the essence. There are many chain restaurants that offer a menu of passable foods, but, someday, maybe for your birthday, you should treat yourself to a high-end meal. Yes, it's pricey--but, think of it, it takes more than 1 minute to prepare it, there'll be tables with real china and silverware, and -gasp- a tablecloth! A person will bring a menu! There will be descriptions of many choices of meals! Savor each morsel! Oh,joy! Oh,bliss! And best of all, not a kid in sight!

Just kidding in my hyperbole--but I am glad that you're not satisfied with horrible fast foods.

I feel the same way. I guess when we were kids we thought fast food was wonderful. We loved the taste and never thought it would be bad for us. We thought it was good food. As we got older, we hear that any type of fast food is not good for our health. We also notice the taste is awful and very greasy.

Yeah..i ate the stuff everyday in high school! But now i just really cant stand even looking at the place.. I guess the movie super size me had something to do with my perspective.

because when your a kid you dont care what you eat, as long as it tastes good.

and now that your older, you realize how they make it and stuff.
