phelps has so many medals becoz he competes in so many events. he's greedy doesnt let anyone else have a go.. even his own team mates. Thorpe whipped his *** in the last olympics and if he was still around it would be really exciting to see as phelps has matured but i think thorpe wudda won, thorpe wudda trained like crazy if he was being threatened and with those giant flipper feet he wuuda nicked it

WEll,he holds a ton of world records,AND he's already won 3 gold medals. It seems like verytime he is on he just...wins.He's always ahead. Though i do feel bad for that Jason dude who was the anchor at that realy,because phelps is getting all the attention,when if it wasn;t for jason, they wouldn't of won.

Definitely with no question its Michael Phelps, and you know why hes so good? Its because he wants this soo bad hes willing to do anything even if it means hes in pain all day long for practicing so hard, I am a swimmer and I totally understand but it is so rare that you will ever find someone like that whos willing to do that.
