  3. Because Mongolia has a very low density population and literally has more horses then men.

  4. Mongolia is landlocked by Russia and China. It is most sparsely populated independent country in the world, this maybe because of it is mostly of arid and unproductive steppes. Arable land in Mongolia is very little. Mostly desert, so people tend not to live their.

People are nomads or semi-nomads. That explains the horses. They domesticate wild horses, which is abudant in that region, for their transportation.

Like in New Zealand, where cows dominated the land, horses in Mongolia is highly valuable for their lifestyle.

  5. I'm mongolian and my grandparents are nomads. They called it "land where there are more horses than men" because out in the countryside the best transportation is horse. My grand parents have over 300 horses. A lot of family have more than 100 horses in their family. Furthurmore, Mongolia has just about 3 million people and more and more people are moving into the capital city Ulaanbaatar to get close to everything so they sell their farm animals. The bottom line is that nomadic family have many horses to support their life. It so more you have the better life you will have.

  6. Horses are very important in Mongolian Culture. Mongol Empire is Big Because of Horses. Horse Milk is more consumed than cow's milk in Mongolia.

    Why do Mongolian do?

    Transportation

    Economic Use

    Agriculture

    And Mongolian Population is small.
