Why is Neil Armstrong so quiet and doesn´t share his thoughts about the moon?

Maybe he doesn't like reliving the past because it reminds him he is getting old, i know i hate telling stories about when i was younger.

Well, he's fairly quiet these days because he's pretty much retired. He used to give a lot of talks, but he's 78 now and doesn't do it so much. And according to his colleagues, Armstrong has always been a rather modest and reticent man. Not the kind of person to go around boasting all the time.

If you want an outspoken someone to share his feelings with you about the moon, why don't you talk with Buzz Aldrin? He was there too, you know, and has the entirely opposite personality.

He's always been a reclusive person. He doesn't seek publicity and rejects his celebrity. It's just his personality.

There's all types of personalities.  I met Buzz Aldrin last month.  He's good at promoting himself, with the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing next year, you'll hear a lot more in the months to come.

A few years ago Armstrong was at an event... he charged $75 for an autograph.  I guess after 40 years he's tired of the fame.
