  1. Nepal is a country landlocked between China and India. Obviously it's still a part of Asia, regardles of its proximity to water. I've actually never heard of Nepal as being considered Asia Pacific but it's commonly referred to as a part of South Asia.

  2. It is count as one of the asian countries.  the continent does not according to the border with the ocean, it is the area.

  3. This is the Asia and Pacific category...Nepal is an Asian country in the Himalaya region along with countries like Bhutan. Asia stretches from the Kamchatka peninsula in Russian Siberia in the east to the Ural in the west and includes diverse countries such as South Korea, Laos, India, Saudi Arabia, and Armenia.

Asia Pacific is often used to encompass a very large area which includes Asia and Oceana which the people from that area are often called Pacific Islanders.
