  1. Ew... humidity. We have a lot of it in St. Louis, MO since we have the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers running into each other. More water in the area, more humid it will be. Go to Montana if you don't want humidity. The air there is so pure.

  2. You're close to the ocean.  Beachfront property is always more humid that inland states.

  3. It closer to the Atlantic Ocean and when it is humid the moisture comes in from the Atlantic Ocean. The humidity makes the air sticky and uncomfortable. Hope this helps.

  4. it lies close to the atlantic ocean!

and that explains the rising humidity..

i live 2 blocks away from the sea..

    brooklyn it is..

    it's so so humid!

but i luv it in the spring and winter..!

  5. Because it is more built up.

  6. because everything is very closed in & cuttlered so it traps in more heat then open areas. cause open areas the heat can spread around more freely.

  7. Its proximity to water.  Manhattan is an island.  Upstate is bordered by the Great Lakes Ontario and Erie.  All coastal States are more humid than mid-western States.
