Why is Niagara Falls so important?

  1. You obviously haven't seen it.  It's beautiful and spans 2 countries.  Niagara Falls Ontario has been a honeymoon destination for 1 hundred years.  Do a little research and you'll see what I mean.


  2. Niagara Falls is continues to be one of the largest power suppliers (especially hydroelectric power) in the world.  The immense amount of power created by the water of the Niagara River inspired Nicola Tesla to invent and implement to concept of alternating current.

    In other words, you wouldn't be able to come on Yahoo Answers and sarcastically ask "What's the big deal?" about Niagara Falls since there would be nowhere in your house to plug your computer into.  Think about how different your life would be without electricity and then wonder if Niagara Falls is a "big deal"
