Isn't that a contradiction and hypocrisy to say the least?

  1. It is ridiculous to only vote for someone because they are black or female, but many people seem to be doing this.

However, some new McCain supporters claim they have switched not because Palin is a woman, but because they do not like Obama's character.

  2. i think that the GOP is the only one who thinks that the only reason women wanted hillary was because she was a woman. they supported hillary because she was a woman who championed women's issues. i'll spell it out: lady parts alone do not an ideal candidate make. i think that many women see right through mccain's pandering and are quite put off by it.

  3. nobody says it is. however, it seems the obama supporters are busy trying to say it is ok to vote against her because she is.

  4. Yes, and it is also a bastardization of our political process...

But then again you and I have probably always had someone who resembles us in office, we've always been the majority...  Hard to say what it is like from another persons shoes.

  5. Well, I wouldn't have voted for Hillary even tho

she is a woman. I just don't like her.

I also would not vote for Obama, but not because he is Black, but because he's the most

    Liberal guy in the Senate.

I would vote for other women or Blacks that are

intelligent and qualified for the presidency. so,

you can't blame that on hypocrisy. It's called

    smart and honest voting.

To the angry leftist: Blacks will always vote for

Blacks, so that's why you saw very little people

of color at the RNC. They always support their

own race. However, I saw tons of Whites at the

DNC, so Whites don't always only vote for

Whites. Your ideas are all wet.

  6. Either way it's a very shallow and uninformed way to vote

  7. What.  Palin has more experience then Obama and he's running for prez.  No one's stopping you from voting for Obama.  That's a dumb reason to vote for him though, doncha think.

  8. Obviously it is OK.. because without the "let's vote for Obama because he's black" vote, he wouldn't have made it through the primaries.

  9. When I was a teenager... I wore a Fishbone t-shirt that said "Racism Sucks" on it.

A big bald neo-n**i came up to me, got in my face and said... "It all depends on which side you are on!"

After I crapped myself... I think he is right, and that is your answer.

When the Democrats cry racism sucks... the Republicans basically say "It all depends on which side you are on!"

  10. One more time

WE DON'T CARE ABOUT OBAMA'S RACE.

Why do you put words in our mouth? We don't like Obama because he's more liberal than Teddy Kennedy.  He's friends with TERRORISTS.  He was taught HATE. He voted for infanticide.  He wants to raise taxes.  He's against the war.  (that's a negative to me)

Did you notice that Condi's name got huge cheers?  (She's Black! oh nooo!)  I know lot's of people that would vote for her or Alan Keyes, and you know what- They're (gasp) republicans! :O

  11. Well McCain has sure shook you guys up now hasn't he.   It is not dumb for McCain to assume that he will get the "Hill voters" It is however, dumb to assume that Palin will not. We do not need them all just a few and with the (I) vote we will have our MAVERICK in office. Women in This country regardless of party need to begin to make their climb to power, and since Hillary wasn't even vetted by the great community organizer Obama, most Women will vote for Sara Palin... Governor from the great state of Alaska. Remember ladies first.

  12. I guess because Obama is only half black.

Anybody who votes for a candidate based on their color or s*x, shouldn't be allowed to vote.
