Why is Obama against increasing the flow of gas and oil into America?

Does he really want gas to be so expensive that we have to walk to work? Isn't that what President Carter suggested? Do we want to return to the 70's?

He probably realizes that the price of gasoline has been artifically inflated due to speculation and the decline of the dollar world-wide.  If he cannot explain this viewpoint in language that the average American can understand, then he needs better speech-writers.

The Dems like to keep us broke and suffering that way we have to rely on big government for help which in turn means control of the people.
