  1. Considering his name is Barack Obama, that he was unknown a few years ago, that he's competing against someone who has been in the senate over half of his (Obama's) adult life, that 20% of the electorate say race is a factor, that he endured a brutal primary battle against the leaders of the democratic party for the past 20 years, and that the right wing smear machine has been operating heavily against him, I think a 6 point lead is acceptable at this point.

  2. I checked Rasmussen Daily results yesterday and Obama had pulled a whole ONE POINT infront of McCain.  SO, whatyoutalkin' 'bout, Willis?

Check the daily poll results if you believe Rasmussen, BO has been dropping pretty much steadily since June.  Actually, with the leaners, they had they both at 47 yesterday.

  3. It is hard to understand.  Obama is extremely intelligent, eloquent, and has been correct on all the issues.  He was right on Iraq.  He is right on diplomacy being better than bully tactics.  He is right on favoring middle class tax-cuts over tax-cuts for the wealthy.  And he is right that we need health care for our citizens.  McCain has changed his position on pretty much every issue just to get elected, and  is running on the same policies that are destroying this country.

My guess is that the GOP is very good at sliming their opponents and using fear and hatred - especially against a candidate like Obama.

  4. People are starting to wake up and smell the incompetence?

  5. Because he sucks. And the jig is up. So long loser.

  6. After the debates are finished he will be over ten points below McCain's present position! Barry can't pronounce words correctly and his choices are usually grammatically incorrect! He can't win a debate!

  7. He should be way ahead especially after the convention there is always a big "bounce" in the polls, but that has not happened. It will be interesting to see what happens after the Republican convention.

  8. the novelty of Obama is wearing off and people are starting to consider the issues more seriously.  by election time, McCain will be ahead.

  9. No, Obama should be a billion points ahead. lol

  10. Obama didn't appoint Hillary as VP. Fatal mistake!
