Why is Obama raising taxes on smart people?

Is it because the gap between smart people and dumb people is growing too large?

Just relax if he is only raising taxes on smart people yours won't go up a cent they might even go down. Before he can raise taxes he has to be elected so how could he be increasing them now.

If dumb people earn as much as smart people they will pay at least as much tax as smart people, probably even more as they won't be as smart at avoiding it. Your question is a pretty 'dumb' attempt at political point scoring.  Rich doesn't equate to smart, there are lots of rich idiots as well as poor idiots. There are lots of smart and dumb democrats as well as smart and dumb republicans. Being intelligent doesn't automatically give you common sense.

Other than for the richest people, Obama is going to *lower* your taxes.

If the people are smart, then how can he raise taxes on them only?  If it was possible to target taxes, then we could go after lawyers and corporate executives who are constantly taking government money and not paying taxes.  Do not equate smart with rich.  Rich people either inherited money from their robber baron ancestors or have hornswoggled it from the current crop of gullibles.
