I tell you why. Two reasons:

1) Look at Steve Forbes Record. 30-5-9. He can't hit, Oscar has height, reach & power advantage

2) Oscar has had a history of picking his fights

Oscar promotes himself into big money fights while he's years from being in the top list of fighters. I've been a boxing fan for years and it infuriates me that Oscar has been this limelight fighter with no real accomplishments in the ring. He got away with so many bad decisions in his favor over years. Pernel Whitaker, Ike Quartay, Felix Strum (terrible decision). He lost them all. Every time hes stepped up to a Competent fighter he looses. Trinidad (iffy fight I agree) Mosely, Hopkins, Mayweather.

There are so many exciting fighters right now.. Miguel Cotto, Manny Paquia, Paul Williams. Does anyone really want to see Oscar beat this Reality TV fighter so he can loose to Floyd Mayweather again?

  1. Oscar is about 10 years past his prime. People still pay him big bucks to see him step into the ring though. Fighting once in a while keeps his name fresh and helps his promotions.

  2. My friend you said it all great job.

  3. You've answered your own question quite well, and fewer and fewer people will take issue with what you are saying.

The reason he is fighting Steve Forbes is simple- He can't beat anyone else!
