Question:

Why is Palin's daughter off limits?

I'm not saying we should attack the poor girl.

But Palin is an advocate of absinence-only education, and outlawing any other form of s*x-ed. I think it's incredibly relevant that Gov. Palin's plans don't even work inside her own home, but we're supposed to adopt them for the whole country.

Why is family off limits, if it's relevant?

  1. It's not relevant.  People are using Palin's daughter as some "example?"  Why?  When it happens in MILLIONS of households every year.  Why single her out?

Also, how many people do you know whose teenagers are 100% obedient to their parents.  If they are you'd better check it out because there may be a fear thing going on there. Autocratic parents are generally abusive parents.

What's relevant is Palin's record on the the environment, and the economy and the more people focus on this gossippy stuff re: her daughter and her private life, the less they focus on what's is really important to the country as a whole....and then those people are giving others reasons for wanting to give the Palins' sympathy for being "picked on" and then they get elected for that c**p...ACK! No thanks.

Nope, I think Obama is right on this one. Family should be off limits...and people should focus on the issues that affect us as a nation...and one 17 y/o pregnant girl does NOT affect me personally.

  2. it is relevant to what she preaches and that is why we care.

don't blame the american people who will vote differently because of it, or the media who reports it, but you can blame her mother for accepting the vice presidential nomination. she knew d**n well everything they did, and do, will be in the spotlight when she said yes.

  3. Nobody's squeaky clean. Besides, it's not her daughter that is the candidate.

And finally - define how this is relevant.

  4. She should be off limits because she is just a kid. She shouldn't be punished for her mothers beliefs . I can't believe her mother is subjecting her family to this. The sad thing is is that I'm sure Bristol had no choice in the matter. Do you think her mom would let her have an abortion?
