Why is Palin being compared to Obama when Palin is running for the VP position?

Do the Democrats have a VP running for President? Where is Biden in all of this? Shouldn't Palin be compared to Biden for the position and Obama compared to McCain?

Yeah, I wonder this, too. When Obama's campaign accuses Palin of being even more inexperienced than Obama, which isn't true, I don't think they realize how ridiculous they sound comparing the Democrat presidential pick with the Republican VICE presidential pick. Seriously, Democrats, you think it's a good argument to point out that your presidential pick is about as inexperienced as the GOP's vice president? That's sad, man.

She compared herself to Obama in her speech with the community org commebt, I think she is under the delusion she is running for president.  Luckily Obama won't sink to her level.

Because they fit a similar template as far as the progression of their careers. They were talked about in the media as rising stars, reformers, change agents, young, a new generation of politicians, and four years later, against so many odds, they're on a national ticket.

Because the Liberal Democrat media started it all.   They took it when Obama introduced Joe for President; he really meant it.   So, the media is stuck in the mold that the VPs in this race are Sarah Palin and Barack Obama
