  1. idk, i noticed when my family and i went there over the summer last year, the airport ppl were hassling us so much, they were giving us a hard time cuz we're U.S. citizens and we had to fill out all this paperwork. such a hassle, that's the only thing i hate about goin to Panama.

  2. Finally Panama is taking steps to make it more secure for everyone.  Have you seen the news lately?  The crime rate is going up.  I don't blame all Colombians, but some certainly are part of the problem.  On the other hand, Venezuelans are also coming to panama escaping Hugo Chavez.

A friend of mine was killed 2 weeks ago. She went to pay her water bill. It seems that thieves were stealing something, she got out of her car and she was taken as a hostage, shooting began and she died in the cross fire.  That really Suks.

I am glad they are getting strict.

  3. Perhaps your friends immigrated under a false pretenses?

As bad as it sounds, a government has the right to expel any foreigner it wishes, for any reason.
