  9. All practising Muslims find boundless humility and peace in God because of collective unity and both individual and collective remembrance.

We break our fast and we are thankful,

We pray a lot for each other collectively and individually and we know that people are praying for us a lot too.

we remember that the coming days the people in the Haj are so close to God isa and the haj is the beauty.

We pay our Zakat with extra baraka

We get together and make a special effort to remember our loved ones and those less fortunate.

We remember to pray a lot for those groups and individuals that we know that are suffering, particularly those that have lost some one in the family and that person will not be eating the Iftar with them this year.

We go on missions to revitalise our our spiritual path by reading and trying to gain meaning and understandings of the Word of Allah swt.

When we eat a date we think that this is how Mohammed saw was eating in the first fastings, we try to follow the Sunnah so much.

Each person is on a very peaceful path this month and we understand that about each other. We call up on the telephone to people with love and salutations more than ever.

We feel God is watching us so much, we simple can fall back in love with our faith. We all buzz like bees to collect the sweetness of the honey that we know will benefit each part of us isa.

We listen to radio and watch programmes, we feel clean and humble and strong. We all get the chance to feel it together as one ummah.

We cry with love of God and his prophets may Allah be pleased with them all, we all ask for mercy and forgiveness, for we know in our hearts that forgiveness is with the merciful.

We speak extra kindly for we are extra aware of our sins and our conduct and responsibilites of the correct adab.

We become more aware of time.

We try to read the Quraan a lot and when we are doing so we know that there is so much benefit

All the Muslims in the world stay in harmony regardless of the fights of goverments, of wars, of rich or poor- we are humanity- from every part of the globe- we are Muslims together alhamdulilh-

We extra reflect on ourselves and on our Deen and we learn, we teach, we share so much, we help to fulfil the future generations with the examples of how we live our Ramadan so they will remember and live it themselves isa.

We love Ramadan with all sincerity so we get excited

    Ramadan Kareem ya Moonrise x

  10. Well, Ramadan is very important to all Muslims around the world because it is the month in which the Qur'an was revealed to Angel Gabriel which later was revealed to Prophet Muhammad. It is the Islamic month of fasting (sawm), in which we do not eat or drink anything from dawn until sunset. Fasting is meant to teach the person patience and humility. Ramadan is a time to fast for the sake of God, and to offer even more prayer than usual. Also involved in Ramadan are asking forgiveness for the sins of the past, asking for guidance in the future, and asking for help with refraining from every day evils and trying to purify oneself through self-restraint and good deeds.

That was the religious side, but Ramadan in Egypt is very beautiful there are many traditions and customs during it, like spending the first day in the family house and watching specific kinds of TV shows made especially for Ramadan, some are religious and some are for entertainment, I wait for this month every year, it's so special for me as a Muslim.

  11. Because it has Leilat el Kadr, when the Quran was revealed to Prophet Mohamed PBUH.

  12. Because Ramadan is Islam's Holiest month.

The month in which the Holy Quran was told to Prophet Mohamed (peace & prayers be upon him)

Also, fasting during Ramadan is one of the 5 Pillars of Islam.

    FYI, those pillars are:

    1) Testifying that there is no God but Allah

    2) Praying

    3) Fasting during the Holy month of Ramadan

    4) Giving Zakah (annualy Muslims are obliged to give %2.5 worth of everything they own to the poor and needy)

    5) Making Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) once in a life time, ONLY if the person is capable to (financially or health wise)

  13. ramadan kareeeeeeem

its when the quran was revelaed to man kind.

rewards are doubled. shiytan is tyed up for the month. gates of h**l are opened and souls are let into jennah.

time for repentance start afreah the new year. time for reflection and tiem to make dua (more so then usual)

its a greta tiem of the year, where we try and put differences aside and be at peace. the only time of the year when for one month i get to eat with all my family.

    subhanaallah

  14. Ramadan is the best of the months of the years. The Qur’an was revealed in it as stated in the Qur’an. Also the rewards are greatly multiplied in Ramadan if the intention is sincere. The gates of Paradise (Jannah) are open, the gates of h**l (Jahannam) are closed, and the Shayatin are tied up as the Prophet (s.a.w.) told us. Also the fasting of Ramadan can wipe out all the wrong doings committed before if we avoid the great ones (Kaba’ir) that need repentance (Tawbah). Qiam (praying at night) in the month of Ramadan can also wipe out all the wrong doings committed before if the great ones are avoided. This does not mean than we cannot do wrong in Ramadan because Shaitan is tied up; people can make the job of Shaitan much easier by coming to him rather than he comes to them. There are so many Hadiths that talk about reward in Ramadan; just to quote some, the Prophet (s.a.w.) said: “Whoever fasted Ramadan out of belief in it and sincerely seeking the reward from Allah, all his past wrong doings will be forgiven”. He also said: “Whoever prayed Qiam throughout Ramadan, all his past wrong doings will be forgiven”. It is a good idea to pay Zakah of assets during this month since the reward will be multiplied In Sha’ Allah. Agricultural products Zakah is paid during the harvest time.

    RAMADAN KAREEEEEEEEEEEEEEM!!!!!!!!

    mwaahhhh

    :-*

  15. because it teaches you humility and patience and it is also a time to reflect.

  16. two ways to look at it

    first concerned with faith..................

    second personal attachments

the first one i think its a moslems wide motivation its similar to you as to me as to p**i or indu

    the second one

each person through out years developed some family as large as well as to the close family some concepts that has got a meaning which for me i would not give them up under any circumstances .

these concepts reflects me as a human from one side as cousin or uncle to others brother to members of the family and a father to married and unmarried kids

all there is some mutual formula is build and it is so nice to keep it up year  after a year
