Why is Russia inside Georgia?

Because Georgia attacked Osettia (a provence inside Georgia bordering with Russia) and Russia didn't like what was happening. Apparently they have lots of Russian citizens living in Osettia. I'm not sure why Russia still hasn't fully pulled out though.

Because Georgia attacked Ossetia and killed Russian peacekeepers. And civilians.

Because Georgia attacked S.Ossetia in their attempt to reassert their control of that little separatist province. The truce signed by the Georgians and Russians in the late 90s allowed for Russian peacekeepers to be in S. Ossetia in the first place.

Since Georgia broke the truce on August 6th last week, the Russians responded in with a heavy hand and pushed the Georgians completely out of S. Ossetia.  Now S. Ossetia has become the 'Russian Kosovo." (that's were the US support the separatist Kosovo in their breakaway from Serbia).  Now the shoes on the other foot.

Since 2002 the US has been modernizing Georgia’s military. Georgia is needed by the US as a strategic position in Europe, Middle East and Asia (Imperialism).

Georgia using these new “toys” decided to obliterate a piece of their territory because the people there weren’t cooperating with the government. Russia had peacekeepers there to protect the people, most of whom were Russians.

Russia launched a counter attack to stop the Georgian assault and went beyond the region in question to stop possible long distance attacks into the region.

With relative fighting subsiding and Georgian soldiers fleeing, Russian soldiers have stumbled onto HUNDREDS of Georgian ammunitions (ammunition, rifles, artillery, tanks, trucks, etc). Instead of letting it sit around for ANYONE to come and pick it up, Russian soldiers are 1: wait for the Georgian authorities to arrive and take care of the weapons cache, 2: delivering the tanks, trucks to the Georgian forces themselves. However, despite Russian using Georgian tanks/trucks, CNN and FOX spin the story for its own benefit.

The western media is being led to make Russia the enemy because the western nations will gain from it. Namely the ability to do as they please without someone (Russia) stopping them.
