  1. Russia is sending out a heartfelt message that none of her previous satellite countries will ever be apart of NATO. Its equivalent to the USA allowing missiles placed in Cuba, Mexico, or Canada from Russia's aspect. Georgia was played by American diplomats, pushing for membership with NATO and Western protection. In as much; the outcome proves the disloyalties and double talk of the Bush Administration. Even Secretary of State Condi Rice, now knows how her predecessor Collin Powell felt at the UN, projecting Bush's agenda for the Iraq War.

  2. Georgia, a USA ally started this conflict. Russia was just trying to protect the people of Ossetia.

  3. A group of separatists in the Georgian area of South Ossetia tried to secede from Georgia and join Russia, so Georgia sent in their military and Russia responded by taking the area.

  4. All I know is that these big leaders are busy dancing around thin ice with us (the regular people of this world) are sitting in the middle as the cracks get bigger.

It really pisses me off. If it really is going to lead to ww3, I hope I dont live to see it.

  5. To control Oil pipelines and the area of the black sea.
