Why is Russia the bad guy on attacking Georgia ?

Dont you think its stupid? I mean Georgia attacked first, killed 15 Russian peacekeepers and killed over 1500 S.O civillians and now Russia is the bad guy for destroying Georgia, they should of known better than attacking Russia?

What do you think about all of this? USA would do the same if lets say Mexico did something like this...

The US HAS done the same thing! but it was 150 years ago and we called it the Mexican-American war. With the part of S.O. Played by Texas, Mexico as Georgia and the US ironically as the Russians....

Russia baited a trap.  Georgia bit.

There was no response...it was a planned military action.

Georgia was nevertheless attacking its own region, a small area that was attacking the majority of the Georgians, it also blows away military intelligence minds on how fast Russia reacted and had forces in the area.

Edit: to the guy below me, even if that is true it still doesn't compare well at all. In the Mexican American war one of our ships was destroyed (whether you belief that was self inflicted or not doesn't matter)), then we retaliated, Georgia was fighting its own citizens, and Russia got involved and then lost lives.
