wel as far as odi's are concerned m not sure for his place 2 b in the team with his present form but still u can't remove gr8 players of his standard like this but selectors need to think for his place in final 11 if he place in the similar way as he's playing now

A very good question and unfortunately the true answer has to be that Sachin should be dropped for the ODI series and some young talent should be given a chance. Your selection has to be made on the basis of your present performance and not your past glory days.

All the four seniors(barring perhaps Laxman)have their best period behind.An odd good innings once in a while is not what is expected of them.They have already done enough to India's cause and can feel proud of their achievement.

Though they may be technically good they are not getting younger and they lack confidence.Due to over cautiousness making things difficult for themselves and to India.Let them not spoil their career and India's chances.They must see the writing on the wall and look at Gilchrist how he took the right decision at the right time.

He is going through bad form.... By looking at his recent performances in the test, he will not qualify for ODI, but he had performed brilliantly in his last ODI series ( Commonwealth Bank series)!
