Why is Shmurah Matzah sold in stores so burnt and overbaked?

Tiferet brand...I don't mind and like it but it's SO burnt. I thought it was just my batch but whoever's home I've had it at this year is also burnt!

Halachic prohibition of only a few minutes to add water and bake Matzah and prevent rising means ovens are set quite high to facilitate rapid cooking.

Result of high oven temperature frequently blackens Shmurah Matzah
