Why is Silk so popular in Vietnam?

The weather in Vietnam is really hot, especially in the South where it's over 28degrees C all year. Silk is also a traditional product of Vietnam and its production dates back to thousands of years.

I'm not sure why silk is so popular in Vietnam. Perhaps it's because silk has been produced in Asia since the beginning of time. Maybe it's because you can't beat Asian silk when it comes to making the finest clothing in the world. It's possible that silk is the fabric of choice when it comes to making clothing suitable to the Southeast Asian climate. I do know why silk is very popular with me.

My wife looks sizzling hot when she is wearing her hand made Vietnamese silk nighties and undergarments. There is NOTHING in Fredricks or Victoria Secrets that even comes close. I am so glad that we bought a plentiful supply of them before we came back to the states. That in mind, I believe Vietnamese silk is the best in the world.

The silk are popular because there are many "silkmaker"(I mean the little animal that make silk) in Vietnam. Also, the weather is better there.

Silk is so popular because it's very hot out there and silk is I think the most lightest comfy clothing to wear when warm because it's not as thick as like cotton. If you wear cotton I would be sweating a lot
