Why is Smackdown coming to MyNetwork TV?

Why is Smackdown going to be aired on MyNetworkTV instead of The CW? Did The CW s***w off Smackdown?

Pretty much what the second guy said, though ESPN and ABC are affilates of the the same parent company (Disney).

CW didn't want to renew the contraact so they found the second cheapest channel

They couldn't agree with CW on a contract, and My Network picked up the contract to broadcast Smackdown.

It's the same reason why Monday Night Football began airing on ESPN instead of ABC and why Sunday Night Football moved from ESPN to NBC.

as you can see,mynetworkTV has no popular shows so if SD moves there people will watch the channel bcuz of wrestling so it will get higher ratings.....it's better for them to stay in CW
