Why is Stewie (from Family Guy) not as intelligent in the newer episodes

It just seems like this new homosexual cross-dressing Stewie is not the way it should be. Stewie was brought into the show originally as a very complex infant who had advanced weapons of mass destruction. That was humorous to me. This new Stewie just isn't as funny.

I don't know what you're talking about because the stuff Stewie and Brian say are the most intelligent part of the whole show. I mean yes hes dropped the evil genius bit but I don't think they made him any stupider. As far as I'm concerned they should base the show around Brian and Stewie because that's about the only funny part of Family Guy. Always was and always will be.
