He's disliked as he is a slick, s**y style fighter.

he's very flat footed and robotic, but he is SO good at what he does, that people are starting to respect him more and more.

he started out as a fat kid with no talent and the Militich camp created the man he is now.

i think he;s good for the sport as he shows that you don;t have to be like GSP to be a champ.

when he was champ, he deserved it.

he should give Fedor a bit of a challenge (b4 Fedor anihilites him!)

He is? mmmm, i never heard something like that, i know everybody hates Karo Parisyan, you can heard that everywhere, but about Sylvia i trully never heard it.

Like many people have already stated, Sylvia is considered a boring fighter who only fought to win by staying ahead on points, instead of trying to knock-out or submit his opponent.

Personally, I hate his stupid ugly sideburns and his stupid  ugly mohawk.

i think if he was 5 foot he would be working in mcdonalds.

he definetly wouldnt be in the u.f.c . all he does is use his big useless jab to keep you away. maybe i was exzagerating a little when i said he would be working in mcdonalds because he does have that one lucky knock out punch, but he is a very boring fighter to watch.

The reason he is disliked because people think he is a boring fighter. He usually does have a mentality to just get the win. decision or whatever. I dont hate him but i dislike him because when he loses he usually has an excuse. Like when he lost the belt to randy it was only because he came into the fight with an "injury". I know his back was messed up, but that wasnt a new thing.

In general Tim Sylvia gets a hard time, not nesscarily hated, by fans because he is considered a boring fighter. He has the same game plan everytime. Go in use his size to keep fighters at bay. Strike stop the takedown get the points; win with a KO or decision. This makes him a very boring fighter. His matches aren't usually exciting so he gets some bull-stuff for it.
