  1. I was upset at first by the release of Cherry, but thinking about it now I think it's better for her.  Not a lot of people know this, but Cherry is a great wrestler.  Hopefully now she will either go to TNA or Shimmer where she can show her talents.

Stevie Richards was a long time comming.  The one thing that he had against him was hat he was an EC original.  Stevie is a great competitor who gives it his all and doesnt complain about jobbing every week to the likes of Mike Knox or CM Junk.

Collin Delaney can go back to the Indy scene here he was doing good before he came to WWE

The Highlanders.  I remember watching the vidoes about them comming to the WWE and expecting something great.  Foolish me.  They were jobbed out of two weeks on Raw.  The death sentence for the Highlanders was when one of them was shown on Impact (classy move TNA).  Does anybody else notice that there are now only 2 tag teams on Raw

  2. maybe

  3. who had good talent who?

    anyway who cares

yes they have gone down big time

  4. yes, its really annoying. I believe there releasing all the the lower card guys is because they have heaps of new talent coming in every week. Basically, they need to make room.

WQ: Yes, im surprised they still have high ratings these days. TNA will soon overtake them :D

  5. I can't believe they released Stevie Richards and i thought it was about time they released the highlanders. have no idea why they released colin though

  6. WWE didn't release many superstars with a great deal of talent to be honest. Cherry was one of the most talented Divas, but people never really got to see that. Shannon Moore was obviously very talented. Other than these two, none of the others who were released really had what it takes to be successful in the WWE, so they might as well have been released.

This way, wrestlers from FCW who've been waiting for so long to be called up to the main roster now have the ability to do that. In a few months the WWE will be packed with loads of new talent, it'll be great.

WQ: Honestly, no. I can see them increasing actually. With all these new wrestlers coming in, they'll be getting pushed to potentially the main events. It'll make them a lot more exciting to watch than the current Cena/Batista stuff on Raw etc. Although if TNA continue expanding, then they could be the one's getting higher ratings. And if ROH gets a TV deal (other than all my prayers being answered) both WWE and TNA will need to watch out, because these guys will give them serious competition.

  7. I think they feel they will always have enough talent, so they can get rid of the ones that don't want to go with the flow.

  8. McMahon has always had a bad streak of attitude.  Guys get cut all the time, but sometimes they come back.  Used to be said Triple HHH was running things as the son-in-law but I think he isn't going to step on Vince's toes.

  9. I know, they are releasing some good wrestlers and I hope TNA gets them all,so i can stop watching the WWE.

    I'm soo upset.

  10. One other question that I answered, a guy said that it was because of the million dollar mania, they lost to much money and can't pay for all of their contracts, so they had to let go some people.  Sounded pretty reasonable to me, but yeah I agree they are letting the ones go that have talent.  It is stupid.

WQ:Probably if they keep going at the rate their going, by next year John Cena, Batista, Rey Rey, Triple H, Shawn Michaels might be gone, because WWE can't pay for their contracts, who knows?  They shouldn't have done the million dollar mania in my opinion, it was just for ratings, they should have thought about all the money they were going to lose first rather then just blowing their money away like they had no limit of money.  Mr.Mcmahon is tearing the WWE apart, we need someone to buy it from him.  But people are going to sign up, maybe we will get some people from the attitude era such as The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, imagine how the ratings would go up then, I think they let all them go because they wanted new superstars, we haven't had a new superstar in a while, and I think we need a new one, but they shouldn't have released Shannon Moore, he was a very talented superstar along with Cherry also, they made ratings go up as well as all the people we admire today, so I think they shouldn't have released them but rather rating destroyers, or people that we didn't like or that we didn't really care about.  Do you agree with me?  Tell me if you do or if you don't, I will understand any answer you give me.

  11. WWE does this.  They really shouldnt, but they are a business.  Kudos to those who do get released and make it back.

Notably those who did make it back..

Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, D'lo Brown, Jeff Jarret, Sable, many others...

  12. If they keep releasing people then they will have no more talent, and Bye-Bye Vincent Kennedy McMahon and WWE

  13. Some wrestler got the talent but lack of discipline.just look at Scott Hall aka Razor Ramon.he got the talent but no discipline.now can you d**k it SUCKAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. As far as I can see the only talented superstars who were released were Shannon Moore, Nunzio, Chris Harris/Braden Walker, Cherry, and to an extent Steven Richards. The WWE is a TV show, like it or not, and it makes itself out to be that way. If you can't find anything to do with one of your talents, what's the use of keeping them around, right? It sucks, but then again it's better that they leave instead of languishing in the undercard.

WQ: No need; it's already losing ratings now. In my opinion their storylines on a whole have gotten better, much better than two years ago, but the problem with them is their talent. The WWE keeps relying on old hands like Batista, John Cena, Rey Mysterio and JBL to bring in the ratings when they are in fact, losing popularity as I type this..

It doesn't help either that a lot of old-time wrestling fans feel that wrestling is getting more tasteless and stale every year and are abandoning the WWE in favor of other interests or wrestling promotions. And yes, I agree, the Million Dollar Mania was just wrong. It should never have been done.

TNA though will need more than 2 years to get as popular as the WWE especially at the rate they're going. They have so much they need to fix. If they want to get popular they need to move up to a more mainstream TV channel which I don't think they're going to do any time soon. They also have to tweak their storylines since they get confusing, which is primarily Vince Russo's fault.

Point is they need to up their A-game and fix whatever kinks they might have right now. I don't think TNA will leave Spike TV soon but they are broadcasting in more and more countries each year, and if they attain a wide-enough global following, they will become even more powerful.

And if Ring of Honor gets a TV deal, well, I'm pretty sure more people will be looking to that and more progressive independent wrestling promotions rather than the gaudy, stale, traditional WWE.

  15. I agree with you, there are some good wrestlers that have been shown the door recently.

    Good luck

  16. Of the wrestlers who got recently released, how often do you see them on TV, and can you see them actually getting a push in the future?

Domino? Steven Richards? Highlanders? Colin Delaney? Shannon Moore? Nunzio?

The only performer worth keeping was Cherry because she's talented and the Divas are very weak. But when Deuce and Domino both got released, you would think she's going to follow soon. It's just business. Why should a company keep employees that aren't being used? Their expenses are lowering the WWE profits.

With the WWE, it's not about talent. It's about who's marketable; it's about who can get over with fans; and it's about who can sell merchandise. If the WWE just kept talent, guys such as Cena, Batista, and The Great Khali would be out of a job.
