  1. I kind of like Wie, Pressel and other troublemakers.  It keeps women's golf interesting!  I orginally was against Michelle playing in the men's tourney, but since the LPGA crapped on her for the score flap, I say cool, let her play in the men's side.  I only wish that Morgan Pressel would make a few more jabs at Michelle just to keep it interesting.

Now Paula Creamer?, no!  I don't want that little cutie to be the bad girl.  We need a good girl in golf.  Perhaps Pressel can find someone else like Annika or perhaps Kristina Kim to team up with to bash Michelle.  Then maybe Michelle can draft Britany Lincicome or her side to help bash Morgan and Kristina.  Now that would be awesome!

  2. She's done a ton of dumb things in her career. Think about it... the wrist "injury", the 88 moment, not signing her card... the list goes on. She's practically wasting her potential talent.

  3. Yes, the purpose of being a pro-athlete is to make money.  But it should not preclude being a good human being.  She is arrogant, thinks that she is all that, but got no game, a quitter and a liar.

  4. She is getting picked on fairly.  Lets just say she has some "questionable" things on the LPGA since she turned pro.

She deserves to get criticized for playing a PGA event on the week of the LPGA British Open and PGA World Golf Championship.  That reeks of publicity in my opinion.

For a player who does not even have full-exempt status on the LPGA to get invitations to play PGA events is wrong.  It is a handout.  Pro tours should not give handouts!  You ought to EARN your way in.

  5. The reason she is gaining noteriety is she has done so many stupid things. She is a professional . They don't walk off the course and quit the tournament because they are nearing the dreaded 88 strokes rule. They don't get disqualified by taking an improper drop. There are LPGA monitors all over the place to give a ruling.  They don't walk away from the scorer's tent without signing a score card. We teach this to the Junior members who are in any competition. They don't get a Hugh stipend for playing a brand and show nary a result. This from a very immature first year college student who I understand is taking a minimum number of credits. Hope that is not true. Also, she has never proven that she could beat the players on the LPGA . So why more noteriety to play in a PGA event ? Has to do something  to appease the dummies who forked out 10 Mil.

  6. it's not so much Michelle Wie wanting to make money but its the sponsors and others involved with fourth rate PGA tour events who are willing to sacrifice something of the integrity of their even for a few more dollars and a little more attention.  That Wie allows herself to be used as a circus sideshow attraction by this clowns is sad

Wie rushing over to play with the men because she couldn't follow the rules is much like a girls' softball player joining the men because she got called out for not touching a base on a homerun

  7. One day she will be the heads on competition for the great Lorena Ochoa.  Michelle is a kid who is financially set and does not need the approval of the mutts who are bashing her.  Ms. Ochoa is still the real deal until someone proves she is not.  That is not going to happen.  Wie will gain the mental toughness similar to Ochoa's in the coming seasons.

  8. She's getting picked on because she has a ruff year. Journalist are always looking for a story and if its picking on someone because of what has happened to them; then thats what it takes.

I am not sure why she wants to golf on the PGA but I have a couple of reasons why I would...

    1. The guys always make more money.

    2. It brings satisfaction to me that I could beat the guys from thier tees.

    3. It's more challenging.

But thats just my opinion. You never know why people do stuff unless they tell you.

  9. First of all, shes not gonna make any money finishing last at a mens event.  She would make some good dough finishing well in a womans tournament...especially a major.  She is picked on because she is the biggest circus sideshow in golf.  The men hate her, the women think she is stupid and do not respect her, and she is basically ruining her career before it ever gets started.  In reality, it is her parents fault.  They are giving her terrible advice and making her do things that she should not be doing, such as playing in mens events.  She has no business playing with the men.
