Filipino language is important because it is the mirror of the citizens of the Philippines. This is one of our identity as a Filipino. Without this language, what will we speak aside from English. Filipino language is unique just like any language. Many countries lost their native language because of colonialism but our language didn't disappear because it changes as time goes on. It is the identity of a Filipino citizen.
