Why is Window's Movie maker...?

I was uploading a video onto youtube from Window's Movie Maker, which I've done before, and for some reason this video is saying that it cant be uploaded. It say's to move my video in or something. what does that mean?

Hi there

What you're actually trying to do is upload the Windows Movie Maker PROJECT rather than the finished WMV movie.

Open your project (the MSWMM file) and when it is open click CTRL+P or go to "File/Make Movie"

This will create the movie for you in the WMV format needed to upload to Youtube.

It must be said, though, that WMM is not the best tool out there. Apparently CNET rated it 1 star out of 5 due to stability and response issues.

However, there are numerous free editing tools for video you might want to try:-
