  1. If ESPN is willing to pick it up, then yes.

However, ESPN Classic airs the old AWA from 1986.

  2. because its fake

  3. I can see your point on wondering why WWE or TNA isn't on ESPN. If they moved the shows to ESPN, I would respect it because it makes a lot of sense.

You know what, now, you have me wondering the same thing! Why isn't wrestling on ESPN? It should be, because it makes enough sense to me and it should to everyone else.

    Great question!!!!

  4. classic has NWA also to the 1st person.

Mainly because the winners are predetermined and it really isnt technically a sport.

BUT to me Race car driving and POKER ESPECIALLY POKER are not sports either.

I think wwe would bring in better ratings than both of those "sports"

  5. Well, I don't really know why it's not on ESPN. It's not fair.

But I also think it should be.

In my opinion, Pro wrestling like the WWE or TNA should be on ESPN.

  6. cause its not real

  7. Sadly it is not regarded as a real sport since it is choreographed and winners are predetermined

  8. Disney owns ESPN. ESPN has done interviews and promos with WWE Wrestlers over the years. If Disney wants to carry WWE they know who to contact in Stanford, Connecticut and if they want to carry TNA they know who to contact in Nashville, Tennessee. I've seen professional wrestling on ESPN Classic. I've seen AWA, Mid-South and other wrestling promotions on there. If Disney wanted to carry pprofessional wrestling on ESPN, ESPN-2, ESPN News, ESPN Classic, ESPN-U, ESPN Deportes or ABC, they are intelligent enough to know whom to contact.

Consequences makes a great point. If I recall between WWF Raw is War and WCW Monday Nitro they drew a large segment of the Teenage and Young Adult Demographics. The two shows combined drew as many as 20,000,000 Households and the NFL even offered to pay the WWF to move Raw is War to another night.

  9. It really goes back to when the Monday Night Wars were taking the ratings from Monday night football and ABC. Disney, the parent company of ABC and ESPN ,has been trying to ruin and tarnish pro wrestling ever since. They once did an expose' on pro wrestling and tried to smear the wrestlers.

Disney is the evil empire kids.

  10. Before they put any of that c**p on espn, there should be a bigger effort to put true, olympic style wrestling on tv more often..its the oldest sport known to man and deserves more recognition.
