I was surprised to see the amount of smack talk, back talk and thumbs down in an area dedicated to food! What's up?

  1. I agree, sometimes people get too passionate.  There's also alot of subjective opinions, no right or wrong answer to most questions.  Also, sometimes when religion is intertwined with food & recipes --- that's always a hot button issue.

Honestly, believe it or not --- I never give a thumbs down, only thumbs up.  If I dont like an answer, I just ignore it.  This is supposed to be entertainment and time pass only, I dont think people should take it so seriously (unless a serious violation has been breached).

However, I do not condone any questions/comments/issues regarding rascism, anti religion (any religion), pornography, solicitaions, comments harmful for children.......I have a zero tolerance policy against anything of this nature and will report it immediately.

Just take it with a grain of salt!

  2. Yes, there is too much of that all over Y/A. But here? In food? It's that way in cooking & recipes, too. Perhaps people tire of all the cutting and pasting. Perhaps they are frustrated by not finding what they're looking for. But to get upset over food? I don't get it.

  3. I was just wondering the same thing about the vegetarian/vegan section.

  4. I didn't notice. I always get friendly and informative answers here. Several from the ladies above me. Huh...

  5. I agree with the other two "food nerds" posted above me!

PS:  I am the one who gave you both a thumb's up!
