Why is Y!A obsessed with "love"?

because we are so preoccupied with the little unimportant things in life that we don't consider asking questions or conversing about issues (i.e. the condition of africa & what we can do to better it)

Maybe because it's a topic we really don't understand completely. Much like the question, "What is the meaning of life?" It's such a broad topic with so many possible answers. Perhaps the meaning of life is love and vice versa.

Personally I'd much rather have people obsessing about love. Perhaps if more people actually loved we'd have less problems in the world.
