  1. What? for 14 months straight its been Obama worship  time and you want to suppress the RNC coverage?

    McCain will WIN in 08

  2. seeing that the RNC was going on this week  i can see the coverage..  I noticed the same thing when the democrats were holding their convention last week.

  3. Because the RNC is right.

  4. Ya sure even if it isn rthats only 10% opf the media that supports the Republican(fox and Yahoo) if you mad about it watch CNN and go to AOL for you news......

  5. I guess you did not see yahoo do the fact check on the Republican speeches.

  6. Could it be because the RNC is the most current event?

    Maybe?

  7. You cannot claim that any coverage at all of Sarah Palin could be considered positive.

  8. Why do I always get obama campaign ads on my screen but never any for McCain.

  9. Yahoo does not "cover" news events unlike the media which did not stop gushing endlessly about the dumocrat party for weeks ,(months) on end.

The answer to your question- because the Republican convention was more positive.

  10. It is not.

But if you have a news flash you might want to contact obama’ press agents, you know ABC, NBC, CBS, I’m sure they will be appalled that obama is not getting the typical 90 positive coverage they have deemed appropriate for their candidate.

  11. God forbid that Republicans actually get one day of positive coverage since the beginning of the entire election process.

  12. It's about time the RNC got some coverage.  If you watched the RNC last night, you would see that CNN had democrats commenting on it while the convention was going on.  Did CNN have any republicans commenting on the DNC convention?  No.

This election is being blatantly one sided by the media.  Like I said, it's about time the RNC got some coverage, even if it will be distorted by lies.

  13. Because they are just like Fox News.

  14. Why? Because you are living in a parallel universise

  15. Becasue of all of the negitive c**p Democrats put on YA about Sarah Palin and her Family, they are probably being sued. That's what I heard anyway. And all of the people who posted rants on the Palin family are also being looked at. I saw it on CNN.

  16. bECAUSE THE LEFT ISN'T USED TO SEEING FAIR MEDIA COVERAGE

  17. bipartisism...right?

  18. ::yawn::  Because the Left has made such a HUGE deal about Palin (woo hoo!  Keep it up!) that no one can remember that Obama guy.

  19. Did it occur to you AT ALL that MAYBE the Republicans are just more "electrified" in their campaign.  The DEMOS need some DYNAMITE to reignite THEIR campaign !!!!!!  They're getting their a$$es KICKED. . . . .BIG TIME !!!!!!!!!!!

  20. The Media is still afraid of the Republicans after they gave them a good scathing for daring to question Palin's credentials.

Here we go again.  The Repubs also intimidated the media for daring to question Bush's reason for invading Iraq.

  21. Probably a token effort to balance the whole rest of the US media...

  22. So go read the Daily Kos.

  23. Did you check Yahoo last week???  It was all DNC!

DUH - THIS WEEK IS RNC WEEK!  Of course the news is about the RNC!  Geez.

Last week was DNC week... or did you not follow your party's activities???

And all the people answering above CANNOT GIVE THAT ANSWER???

I tell you.  I am losing faith on the American people.  There are too many stupid Americans on Yahoo Answers!  And to think I look up to you guys!

  24. Please....

Maybe Obama needs to do something to get on the news this week.

  25. Yahoo is own by Time Warner

  26. get over yourself - yahoo has been pro obama with sparkling headline after sparkling headline for months now.

  27. Are you serious?

  28. That is so funny. I just checked to see who owns yahoo news. It seems so one sided AGAINST republicans (especially Palin).

I guess it all depends in how you look at it.

  29. Wrong, absolutely wrong. Yahoo has been criticised for its Obama bias.

Take a look at these 10 headlines and ask me if they are favorable.

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080905/ap_o...

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/america...

These are just some of the obvious ones. Many of the ones that seem positive also have backhanded statements about conservatives.

One of the headlines today is Obama's "rise to greatness" like we haven't been hit over the head with that for the last year and a half. Plus the convention just ended, if it weren't for the craziness surrounding Palin's family life, he wouldn't have gotten any coverage.

If you don't believe in media bias, check the harvard center for excellence in journalism where they found MSNBC and CNN to have obvious liberal bias.

Or the pew research media poll that found a sample of 270 journalists giving to Obama or other Democrats 10 giving to Republicans and 20 giving to other.

So let's get back on about the media being out to get Obama--yeah right.
